Duane D. Baker

Duane D. Baker, age 61, of Alliance, passed away at 8:05 a.m., Monday, October 26, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center.
He was born November 20, 1953, in Alliance, Ohio, to G. Duane and Janice A. (Reed) Baker.
A 1971 graduate of Alliance High School, Duane was a United States Navy Veteran and had been a ship fitter and fabricator of submarines in Pearl Harbor. He had resided in Hawaii for twenty five years.
Survivors include his wife, Jovita Agader whom he married December 7, 1996; his parents of Florida; daughters, Angela Agader of Akron and Jovita R. Baker and Roshanda Baker, both of Alliance; sister, Kelley Marie Baker; and brother, Robin Trent Baker, both of Florida; three granddaughters; and his cat, Salem.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2015 at Cassaday Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
