Douglas R. Slusser

Douglas R. Slusser, age 51, of Alliance, Ohio, passed away January 3, 2020 at his home.

He was born July 12th, 1968, in Alliance, to Donald and Margaret Slusser. A graduate of Alliance High School, he was employed at the University of Mount Union and Great Lakes Tire. He was a member of the First Church of God. He enjoyed the fellowship and attending church functions. He also was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.

He was preceded in death by both his parents,   Donald and Margaret Slusser.

His survivors include his sister, Michelle Slusser-Hayes (Doyle) of Evansville, Indiana; nephew, Griffin Walizer of Indianapolis; and great niece, Mia-Rose of Indianapolis, Indiana.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Ruble officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
