Douglas Wallie Oesch

Douglas Wallie Oesch, age 75, passed away on December 29, 2025. He was born on August 13, 1950, in Alliance, to Walter D. and Helen (Domino) Oesch.

Doug graduated from West Branch High School in 1968. He was the owner of D&D Insulation Company since 1976. Doug was a faithful member of Sandy Valley Baptist Temple and Loved the Lord.

He enjoyed working on his family farm and devoted his life to caring for his family. He led by quiet example, steadfast at home, dependable at work. He walked with integrity, showing us how to live right. His wife was extremely blessed because of his loving devotion. He was a wonderful husband, amazing father, humble servant, and patriotic citizen.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years, Niska (Bahler) Oesch; children, Nerissa (Brad) Maris, Derek (Stefanie) Oesch, Grant Oesch; grandchildren, Cody (Hannah) Maris, Layne Maris, Ashley Maris, Josh (Karli) Owen, Catherine (Zachary) Grundon, Zachary Oesch, Joseph Oesch, Matthew Oesch, Isaac Oesch and Ezra Oesch; and three great-grandchildren, Eli Owen, Jayden Grundon, Blakeleigh Grundon.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at Sandy Valley Baptist Temple, 530 Elson St. Magnolia, Ohio 44643, on Saturday, January 3rd at 11:30 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Daniel Sunde and Derek Oesch will officiate.
