Dorothy M. Jack

Dorothy M. Jack, age 96, passed away on June 12, 2025.

She was born on March 15, 1929, in Alliance, to William and Lura (Elliot) Reeder.

Dorothy was a member of First Christian Church of Alliance for over 80 years. She was very active in her church in the Christian Women’s Fellowship and her Sunday school class.

She was a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary and held offices there and in the PTA at North Lincoln School and Stanton Jr. High. She also spent many years assisting her husband who was a sales person for Electrolux Vacuums.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Bonnie (George) Cunningham; and grandson, Greg (Karen) Cunningham.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Robert Jack whom she married on May 17, 1947 and who passed away February 14, 2019; and brother, William A. Reeder.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Alliance First Christian Church. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
