Donna A. Russell

Donna A. Russell, age 93, passed away on April 22, 2025.

She was born on August 23, 1931, in Salem, Ohio, to John. J. and Harriette Moore Mudrick and moved to Alliance as a small child.

Donna graduated from Alliance High School in 1949. She worked for many years as a church secretary, as well as working at Mount Union College and Mercy Hospital. Donna was a member of the San-Hi Club. She enjoyed playing the piano, doing crossword puzzles and eating at Hartville Kitchen. More than anything, Donna loved babysitting her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 75 years, Lowell Russell; her children, Jacci (John) Harriman and Michael (Kathy) Russell; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Saturday, May 10th at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior.
