Donald L. Denny

Donald L. Denny, age 75, of Beloit, passed away at 8:33 a.m., Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born July 27, 1940, in Alliance, Ohio, to Richard L. and Genevieve (Cameron) Denny.
A West Branch graduate, Donald went on to receive his bachelors in education from Mount Union College and his masters in education from The University of Akron.
Donald was employed as a principle at Knox School and had been a farmer. He was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ, a Ruritan, Mile Branch Grange and Farm Bureau member.
His survivors include his son, Douglas (Kathy) Denny and grandchildren, Alec and Anna Denny, all of Hudson; and siblings, Wayne Denny of Sebring and Meredith Smart of Meadville, Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Jodine (Moore) Denny whom he married August 5, 1962 and who died March 6, 2015.
Services will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Haan Phelps of Bethel United Church of Christ officiating. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m., prior to the service.
