David Rea Held, age 82, passed away on August 10, 2025.
He was born on October 4, 1942 in Alliance.
David graduated from Alliance High School in 1960. He worked as a die maker at General Motors in Lordstown for 31 years. David served honorably in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Deborah (Powell) Held; sons, Brent and Robert Held; favorite granddaughter, Penelope Held; brother, Richard (Maureen) Held; sister, Debra Folk; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter-in-law, Michele Held; and niece, Michelle Arnold.
A graveside service will be held at Highland Memorial Park on Tuesday, August 19th at 10:00 a.m.
