Danay Jackson

Danay Jackson, age 46, passed away on January 5, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. 

She was born on May 25, 1978, in Cleveland, to F.H. and Diane Thomas.

Danay was a manager at the Bank of America in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a tremendous mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend. Danay had a strong passion for life. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Diane Thomas; husband, Darrin Jackson; son, Davarius Jackson; daughter, Dominique Jackson; brothers, Frank and Travell Thomas; and several great-nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her father, F.H. Thomas; her aunt, Carol Patrick; and uncles, Darrly “Weegle” Scruggs and Harold “Butch” Scruggs.

 A celebration of life will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Saturday, January 18th at 2:00 p.m. with a visitation two hours prior.
