Dale Lee Hoover, age 93, passed away on Thursday June 13, 2024.
He was born on April 4, 1931, in Alliance, to Harold and Rachel (Ebbie) Hoover.
A lifelong farmer, Dale was a hard worker who enjoyed rides to Amish country in Holmes county and talking with family and friends.
He attended Bolton United Methodist Church and was a member of the Farm Council and the Nimishillen Grange.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Shirley (Jim) Slabaugh, Roger (Debbie) Hoover, John (Kathy) Hoover, Paul (Laura) Hoover and Barb (Kevin) Pucci; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and brother, Richard ‘Dick’ Hoover.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary C. Hoover, whom he married March 10, 1951 and who passed away May 9, 2008; son, David Hoover; brother, Donald; and sister, Janice.
Per Dale’s wishes, no services will be held.
