Dale L. Hartzell

Dale "Big and Ugly" L. Hartzell from Sebring, Ohio, formally of North Benton, Ohio, passed away on October 31, 2023, peacefully at home.

He was born July 28, 1956. He was the son of Roland and Helen (Gosser) Hartzell.

Dale graduated in 1974 from West Branch Senior High School in Beloit, Ohio. He worked various jobs then retired after 40 years as a Semi-driver for The Alliance Recycling Company in Alliance, Ohio.

Dale married Paula Syppko, of Salem, Ohio, on May 19, 1979. They have two daughters, Andrea of Sebring, Ohio and Heather (Justin) Rucker of Alliance, Ohio. Dale has two sisters, Kathie Bickers of California and Faye Reed of Florida and two brothers, Kenneth and Daniel both of Ohio.

Dale enjoyed bowling, fishing, and camping. His biggest passion was going on road trips on his Harley. He made trips to the East Coast, Michigan, and several southern states, as far as Florida. He enjoyed several trips to Washington DC for Rolling Thunder Events.
