Connie Jeannette Robinson

Connie Jeannette (Martin) Robinson went home to be with the Lord on June 22, 2024 surrounded by her family at the age of 78. 

She was born in Alliance in 1945. She attended Alliance High School and received her Bachelors and Masters Degree from Kent State University.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Russell Martin and Lillian Gisela Martin; sisters, Barbara (Martin) Knepper, Helen (Martin) Issacson; brother, William Martin; son, David J. Robinson; and granddaughters, Isabella Strong and Jaime Strong.

She is survived by her husband, William Robert Robinson Sr.; two children, William (Kim) Robinson Jr. and Elizabeth (Jerod) Strong; six grandchildren, Paige, Kasey, Jacob, Matthew, Mikayla, and Samuel; one great-grandchild, Bowie; and sisters, Shirley (Martin) Geiselman of Minerva, Carol Funkhouser of Hyattsville, MD and Donna (Robert) Hales of Mooresville, IN.

Connie married Bill in 1963 and has lived in Alliance her entire life. She was an active member of First Baptist Church for over 57 years serving her Lord in many ways. She taught at Malvern Elementary School for 26 years after teaching at First Baptist Nursery School.

A visitation will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Thursday, June 27th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and at First Baptist Church on Friday, June 28th from 10:30-11:30

A funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church in Alliance on Friday, June 28th at 11:30 a.m.
