Clarie Ford

Clarie Ford, age 89, passed away on November 19, 2023.

She was born on September 24, 1934, in Alliance, to Brunner and Nancy (Young) Rogers.

Clarie worked as a seamstress until her retirement. She was a 50 plus year member of Second Baptist Church where she was devoted to her work as an usher and pastor’s aide. Clarie loved cooking, sewing and doing crafts.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Deborah Johnson; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; special nieces, Joyce Goode and Monica Williams; and special niece and caregiver, Tracy Gordan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Allen Ford; six brothers, Carl, Eugene, Roosevelt, James, Gerald, and Roy Rogers; her twin sister, Marie Starks; sister, Bernice Johnson; and daughter, Dawn Renee Rogers.

A funeral service will be held at Second Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 29^th at 12:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior. Pastor Willie Bell and Rev. Franklin Goode will officiate. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
