Christine A. Baranyk

Christine A. Baranyk, 72, fell into our Lord Jesus Christ’s loving embrace on Thursday, October 23, 2025.

Born in Alliance, Ohio, she was a lifelong resident, growing up on Sawburg Avenue before marrying. She was a wonderful wife, a loving mother, and a doting grandmother. As the matriarch of our family, she was our anchor and embodied her faith in Jesus Christ up to her untimely passing.

Survivors include her husband, Nick Baranyk, whom she married April 30, 1983; her sons,  Michael Baranyk and Matthew Baranyk, of Akron; her daughter-in-law, Ana (Lewison) Baranyk; two grandchildren, Natalie Baranyk and Madison Baranyk; her sister, Mary (Russell) Cline of Alliance; and another sister, Michelle (Cline) Porter of Cincinnati. She is also survived by several aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Bethany Lynn-Scarlett Baranyk; her brothers, Gary, Randy, and Scott; and her parents, Edward and Jean Cline.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 1 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at The Alliance Friends Church, followed by a Memorial Service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Private interment will follow.
