Cathy Jane Grove, age 75, passed away on March 3, 2024.
She was born on February 24, 1949, in Alliance, to Howard and Frances (Lance) Smith.
Cathy graduated from Alliance High School and went on to study Commercial Art at the University of Akron. She worked as a commercial artist, but more recently she worked as the coordinator at Rodman Public Library.
Cathy attended First Christian Church and was a member of their bell choir.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Donald Grove, whom she married August 29, 1970 in Winchester, VA; her nephew, Larry Grove.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Barbara Grove.
A memorial service will be held at Frist Christian Church on Alliance on Saturday, March 9th at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, 1141 W Beech St, Alliance, OH 44601.
