Catherine M. Gamertsfelder

Catherine M. (Flemming) Gamertsfelder, age 79, passed away on May 6, 2026. She was born on September 23, 1947, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Edward J. and Catherine T. (Koehl) Flemming.

Catherine attended school in Cleveland and worked at various nursing homes, home health, and housekeeping job. She was a member of Southside Church of God. Catherine collected angels and cookbooks. She loved taking care of her plants and was a member of the Carnation Buds. More than anything, Catherine loved spending time with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ronald; granddaughter, Kathleen (Terrance) Schellin; great-grandchildren, Savannah and Junior; brothers, Edward and John (Sandy); sister, Mary Castro; and many other family members. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Robert Frushour; daughter, Theresa Schellin; and her brothers, James, Thomas, Dennis, and Gerald.

A funeral service will be held at Southside Church of God on Friday, May 22nd at 1:30 p.m.  with a visitation one hour prior. Pastor Ray Martin will officiate. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Crossroads Hospice.
