Carol A. Gobeli

Carol A. Gobeli, age 91, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025, surrounded by her family.

She was born on June 19, 1934, in Alliance to Leroy (Nick) Hurford and Vera (Fullerton) Hurford. She graduated from Alliance High School in 1952.

Carol attended First Immanuel United Church of Christ and was a longtime member of AARP.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Susan (Douglas) Edwards; her son, Christopher (Rose) Gobeli; her step-grandson, Rod (Tommie) Dennis, and their sons, Gray and Ewan; along with many loving cousins, friends, and extended family members who cherished her dearly.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Morris J. Gobeli.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 28th, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., with friends invited to call one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider to make a donation to the Stark County Humane Society.
