Burdell Eugene Waffler

Burdell Eugene Waffler, age 76, passed away on September 5, 2022. He was born on June 5, 1946.

Burdell graduated from Marlington High School, Kent State and Cleveland State. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War in the 101st Airborne. Burdell was interested in history, specifically of the Civil War.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years, Janet; his two sons; a daughter-in-law; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother; and a niece.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 9th from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will be held at Fairmount Memorial Park on Saturday, September 10th at 1 p.m.
