Brian "Bubba" Buetel

Brian “Bubba” Buetel an Eagle Scout with a great love for tractors and his family was born on October 31, 1966 in Akron, Ohio. He entered into rest on January 11, 2021 after a very courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Buetel; parents, William and Marie Buetel; and sister, Kim (Tom) Schaber.

Brian was an amazing father to his five sons, Tim (Katie) Buetel, AJ (Laurin) Jeffers, Sean (Catie) Jeffers, Tyler (Shannan) Jeffers and Will (Saydie) Buetel; uncle to Samantha (Christian) George and Kaitlyn (Justin) Wise; grandfather to Chloe, Breanna, Ayden, Aurora, Dylan, Brantley, Ethan and Georgia; and nephew to Andy (Joyce) Sulak.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ann Sulak and his Aunt, Betty Stefan.

Brian was an Eagle Scout and was very involved in the Boy Scouts of America. He held the title of Assistant Scout Master and was later promoted to Scout Master for Troop# 101 of Alliance, Ohio. In his Scout Journey he has earned The Wood Badge, 5th year Pipestone and 5th year Polar Bear. Brian is a member of the Order of the Arrow, a troop committee member and Unit commissioner.

Brian loved his John Deere and Allischalmer Tractors. He left behind a great career with the Cat Fanciers Association. His humor and blunt honesty never left a dull moment in his family and friends lives and will be missed beyond measure.

A memorial visitation will be held on Monday January 18, 2021 from 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. at Cassaday-Turkle Christian Funeral Home located at 75 South Union Ave Alliance, OH 44601.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Animal Rescue Shelter of the donor’s choice or to the family.
