Barbara Ann Noll

Barbara Ann Hartzell Noll, age 88 of Lenoir, North Carolina, and formerly of Alliance, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at her home.

She was the daughter of the late Charles B. and Edna (Barnes) Hartzell.

Barbara was a volunteer and team captain for Alliance Community Concerts for 39 years. She was a former recording secretary for Catholic Women’s Club, former member of the St Joseph Catholic Gallery Choir, former trustee of the Saxon Club-branch 8, and lifetime member of BPOE Elks 467 Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards, fishing, bowling, playing bingo, crocheting and knitting.

Barbara is survived by her sister Cheryl (Michael) Cook of Hesperia Michigan; children, Robert Noll of Orlando Florida, Katherine (Dan) Diehl of Hudson North Carolina, Patty Noll of Alliance Ohio, and Susan (Matthew) Nagle of Lenoir North Carolina; six grandchildren five great-grandchildren, and brother-in-law, Daniel (Mary) Noll of Alliance.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Noll and her brother, Byron B. Hartzell.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 6th at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. David Weikart officiating.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.

Interment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
