Barbara J. Laubert

Barbara J. Laubert, age 93, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 6, 2026.

Born on September 25, 1932, Barb lived her entire life in Alliance.

A 1951 graduate of Alliance High School, she retired from the Babcock and Wilcox Tubular Products Division after 33 years.

Barbara was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Homeworth. Her faith meant a lot to her.

Barb was an avid golfer, winning the girls Club Championship six times at Alliance Country Club. She enjoyed working in her yard and spending winters in Florida with her husband.

Those left to cherish her memory are several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Bruce Laubert whom she married July 23, 1955 and who passed away on February 28, 2019; mother, Theresa Cracknell of Alliance; father, Jack Cracknell of California; and a sister, Mona Rohrer.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
