Ann Gonzales

Ann Marie (Vlaiku) Gonzales, age 38, of Alliance, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, August 5, 2012, at her home.
She was born September 27, 1973, in Alliance, to Tim and Mary (McIlvain) Vlaiku.
Ann graduated from Atwater Christian School in 1991 and was self-employed with a cleaning service. A member of the Alliance Christian Center, she enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, her pets, going fishing and bowling.
Survivors include her husband, Steven Gonzales, whom she married December 5, 1992; daughters, Sierra Marie Schaffert of Alliance and Cheyanne E. Gonzales of the home; parents, Tim and Mary (McIlvain) Vlaiku; brothers, Timothy J. Vlaiku, Jr. and Peter J. Vlaiku; grandpa, John Vlaiku of Beloit; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Marie Vlaiku and grandparents, Daniel and Betty McIlvain.
Services will be held at Noon, Thursday, August 9, 2012, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Kirk Martin officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2012. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
