Alma Tolle

Alma “Robbie” Tolle, age 88, passed away on March 12, 2026. She was born on August 26, 1937, in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, to H. Gordon and Irene Robertson.

Alma graduated from Alliance High School and went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science at Mount Union College. She then worked at Mount Union from 1972 until 2006.

Alma enjoyed caring for her houseplants and bird watching. She had many pets throughout the years whom she loved very much. Alma’s greatest joy were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons Geoffery Tolle and Adam (Jenny Mills) Tolle; daughter, Claudia (Eric) McGaffick; grandchildren, Yeshua (Zoe) Tolle, Nicole (Josh) Fischer, Avery Tolle, Merry Tolle, Molly McGaffick and Morgan McGaffick; and great-granddaughter, Tatum Fischer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Stuart Tolle; sister, Margaret Ann Beran; and brother, Gordon Robertson.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 23rd at Trinity Episcopal Church at 1:00 p.m. with Father Jon Coventry officiating.
