Margaret "Peg" E. Bevington

Margaret "Peg" E. Bevington, age 86, of Alliance, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Alliance Community Care.
She was born March 14, 1932, in Canton, to Clement and Violet (Durm) Augustein.
Over the years, she was employed at Heggy's as a waitress, Transue & Williams Stamping as a custodian and at Walmart as a cashier.
Margaret was a member of Parents without Partners. She loved square dancing, ballroom dancing, and traveling, spending time with her grandchildren, and enjoyed coffee with her friends.
She supported the American Cancer Society and the Salvation Army.
Margaret is survived by son, Chuck (Judith) Bevington; brothers, Charles (Jackie) Augustein, John (Carol) Augustein; grandchildren, Paula (Sean) Pellerite, Jennifer (Josh) Herman, Scotti Grewe, Mikalena Grewe; step-sister, Maxine (Don) Haddox; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and four cats.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Bevington, whom she married on October 11, 1952 and who passed away December 24, 1975; daughters, Candace Reno and Tommie (Scott) Grewe; grandson, Charles M. Bevington; brothers, Paul Augustein and Dick Augustein; and long-time partner, David Kemmple.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, November 4, 2018, at Hampton Inn & Suites, 1831 West State St. Alliance, OH 44601.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad St. Canfield, Ohio 44406.
