Forest Boyd Stoudt

Forest Boyd Stoudt, age 71, of Alliance, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at Altercare of Alliance following an extended illness.
He was born July 1, 1947, in Canton, Ohio, to Virgil B. and Wanda (Hively) Stoudt.
Forest was an Eagle Scout and a 1965 graduate of Marlington High School. He received his bachelor degree in 1970 from Ohio Northern University College of Pharmacy, where he was a member of Kappa Psi Pharmacy Fraternity.
Upon his graduation, he was employed as a retail pharmacist including Discount Drug Mart in 1985, where he achieved the position of Vice President of Pharmacy Operations before retiring in 2009. Forest was extremely passionate and dedicated to his profession.
He was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church, Ohio State Pharmacy Association and American Pharmacy Association.
Forest was an avid coin collector, and collected pharmacy memorabilia. He loved boating and camping with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Bridget (Murphy) Stoudt, whom he married July 1, 1972; sons, Craig Boyd (April) Stoudt of Cuyahoga Falls, and Kirk Edward Stoudt of Alliance; daughter, Cari Leigh (William) Voegeli of Louisville; grandchildren, Jackson Stoudt, Michael Boyd Voegeli, Owen Lucas Voegeli and Isaac Lee Voegeli; brother, Brian (Connie) Stoudt; and nieces, Becky and Lindy Stoudt.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. James McCurdy officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
