Delania A. Kaiser

January 19, 1934 — December 7, 2017

On Thursday morning December 7, 2017, Delania Arcola Kaiser left her earthly home and moved to her heavenly home after a long illness surrounded by her loving family.
During her lifetime, Delania was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, minister and mentor. Wife to Dale E. Kaiser since November 9, 1959, mother of seven children Elaine, Samson, Robert, Randy, Daniel, Renee and Katherine, grandmother to 22 grandchildren, great-grandmother to 31 great-grandchildren, friend to many, minister of the Word of God, both in church and out of church, mentor to numbers untold, Sunday school teacher, youth pastor and minister. Delania spent her entire life devoted to God and teaching others the importance of following Jesus. The amount of lives this precious soul has touched and helped to guide into the fold, will never be known here on earth. Delania will be remembered as the woman who walked the walk, talked the talk, and lived the life for Jesus. There is rejoicing in Heaven today because a "good and faithful servant" has made it home. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her here on earth.
Delania was born in Appleton, Alabama, on January 16, 1934 to Barney and Velma (Young) Blair. She was a member of the Tri-County Church of God in Salem.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Dale; three daughters, Elaine, Renee (Rick) and Katherine (Joseph); three sons, Samson (Marie), Robert, and Randy (Susie); and two sisters.
She was preceded in death by both parents; brothers, Aaron Blair and Barney Blair; son, Daniel Kaiser; great-grandson, Anthony Kaiser; and great-granddaughter, Audrey Reese Bender.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Sunday, December 10, 2017, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. The service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, December 11 at the funeral home with her grandson, Rev. Derek Bender officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
