Anna C. Trombetta

Anna C. (Agnew) Trombetta, age 95, of Alliance, passed away at 8 a.m., Sunday, November 4, 2018, at Community Care Center.
She was born June 26, 1923, in Alliance, Ohio, to Wilbert and Olive (Boyce) Agnew.
Mrs. Trombetta retired in 1986 from the former Star Bronze Company in Alliance, after 23 years as a machine operator.
She attended Alliance Friends Church, was a member of the Ladies VFW and loved gardening and reading.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Trombetta of New Jersey; son, Joseph (Melanie) Trombetta of Canton; one granddaughter, Vanessa (David) Fessenden of Nevada; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Fessenden; brothers, John Agnew and Donald (Nancy) Agnew; sisters, Christal Burns and Dorothy (Larry) Thompson; and many nieces and nephews that were dear to her heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 62 years Alfonso "Huntzi" Trombetta, whom she married June 12, 1943 and who died July 3, 2005; and brothers, William, Raymond and Wilbert Agnew.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, November 9th, at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Sams officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Anna's favorite organization, St. Jude's Children's Hospital 332 N. Lauderdale St., Memphis, Tennessee, 38105.
