Veneta J. (Vivian) Lalli

Veneta J. (Vivian) Lalli, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 18th, 2017 surrounded by family at the Altercare of Louisville Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care.
A lifelong resident of Alliance, Vivian was the daughter of the late Peter and Sandrina (Sandy) Kourtis and was predeceased by her husband, Frank P. Lalli, in 1988 and granddaughter Eleni in 1997.
A consummate mother and homemaker, Vivian was dedicated to her children and grandchildren and enjoyed attending their many sporting and other events. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She was a devoted friend to many and a dedicated worker over the years. She also enjoyed going to the movies and taking day trips around the area.
Vivian is survived by her sons Peter (Teresa) and Michael (Stephanie) Lalli and her daughter Fannie Welsh. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Angela Dorsey, Demitra (Paul) Minetos, Sophia Lalli and Athena Welsh.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 26th, 2017 from 9-10 a.m. at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. An 11 a.m. funeral service will also be held on Wednesday at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, 251 25th Street NW, Canton. Burial will follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Alzheimer's Association Greater East Ohio Area Chapter, 408 Ninth St. SW, Suite 1610 Canton, Ohio 44707.
