Timothy R. Hilker

Timothy R. Hilker, age 74, of Streetsboro, passed away at 6:33 p.m., Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at University Hospital.
He was born June 11, 1943 in Ravenna, Ohio to Richard and Olive (Brock) Hilker.
A 1961 graduate of Atwater High School, Timothy completed his apprenticeship with Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. as a mold maker and was employed there for many years. He was currently employed by Lange Grinding in Streetsboro.
He was a member of the Atwater Congregational Church; he enjoyed playing classical guitar, and was a sports car and motorcycle enthusiast.
Timothy is survived by his three sisters, Susan Henderson of Lenoir City, Tennesse, Mary (Albert) Lieder of Hudson and Carolyn (Richard) Belvin of Ravenna; two brothers, Samuel (Donna) Hilker of Nashville, Indiana and John (Vicki) Hilker of Spring, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Daniel Hilker.
A memorial gathering will be held 2-4 p.m., Sunday, July 2, 2017 at the Atwater Township Hall, 1219 OH-183 Atwater, Ohio 44201.
