Theresa "Terry" Erchick

Theresa "Terry" Erchick, age 86, of Alliance, passed away at 11:05 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Crandall Medical Center.
She was born August 26, 1930 in Wellsville, Ohio to Anthony "Ben" Corbisella and Thelma Brienza.
Terry graduated Alliance High School at 16 and went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree from Kent State University and was a cosmetology instructor for 26 years at the Mahoning Valley Career Center. She also owned a beauty shop for 12 years.
A member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church, she also belonged to the Alliance Garden Club and many school clubs. Terry enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Sleepy Hollow Golf Club. Terry also enjoyed music, arranging the flowers her husband Joe would grow, was an avid reader and a wonderful cook and a talented baker, making delicious cakes and pies.
Survivors include her sons, Christopher (Sherry Cioci) Erchick, Michael (Lori) Erchick and Steven Erchick, all of Alliance, grandchildren, Chuck (MB), James, Katie (Bill), Emily, Michael Jr., Samuel, Desiree, Joshua (Jessica) and Christina (Andy); six great grandchildren; and sister, Carmella 'Carm' Lolli of Canton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 68 years, Joseph Erchick; sisters, Pauline Liberti, Virginia 'Gigi' Samuels, Mary 'Do' Conny and Josie DePerro.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Regina Coeli Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Dyer officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Terry's family would like to express a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Crandall Medical Center and Alliance Hospice aide Diane and nurses, Jan and Joan, for their excellent care.
