Pauline Wait

Pauline Wait, age 86, of Alliance, passed away at Alliance Community Care Center at 6:03 p.m. Sunday, August 13, 2017.
She was born April 18, 1931, in Detroit, Michigan, to Clarence and Isabel (Sanderson) Flenniken.
A 1949 graduate of Alliance High School, Mrs. Wait was formerly employed by Buckeye Village, Park Auto Theatre, and was a longtime caregiver for her son, Darryl.
Pauline was a member of the Jehovahs Witness Kingdom Hall Alliance. She enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians and her sons and grandchildren play baseball.
Survivors include her children, Danny (Elizabeth) Wait; Debra (James) Cox, Darryl Wait and Donyvan (Sherry) Wait; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents: her husband, Paul H. Wait, whom she married July 23, 1949; son Douglas; sister, Helen Weick; and brother, Clarence Jr.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m., Friday, August 18, 2017, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. A service will follow at 5 p.m., with Louis Whitaker officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
