Nancy R Stauffenger

Nancy R. Stauffenger, age 77, of Alliance, passed away at 10:53 a.m. Sunday, June 4, 2017 at McCrea Manor Nursing Home.
She was born February 8, 1940 in Alliance, Ohio to Fredrick W. and Sylvia S. (Schmied) Stauffenger.
A graduate of Alliance High School, Nancy formerly worked at Keener Rubber, but mostly as a housewife.
She loved to fish, play cards, but most of all loved to spend time with her grandchildren and her beloved dog, Henry.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandy DuPlain (Dave) Harding of Alliance; grandchildren, Jordan Mears of Warren, Spencer Mears of Alliance, sister, Sandra (Shish) Stauffenger, and brothers John R. Stauffenger and Fredrick Stauffenger, all of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
The family gives special thanks to the staff on the 2nd floor at Alliance Community Hospital, and to Hospice for the wonderful care and comfort that Nancy and her family received at this difficult time. Also special thanks to Jody Hill's spiritual guidance to Nancy and her family.
