Margie E. Zickefoose

Margie E. (Lanham) Zickefoose, age 78, of Alliance, passed away at 6:25 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Canterbury Villa.
She was born February 21, 1939 in Buckhannon, WV to Ivan and Janie (Beckner) Lanham.
A graduate of Buckhannon High School she worked at Alliance Rubber, Holiday Design and retired from the Genie Co.
She enjoyed playing bingo, bowling, music and watching the Cleveland Indians and West Virginia football.
Margie is survived by her husband, Robert Zickefoose; sons, Robert "Boo" Zickefoose (Maryann Mabry), Carl (Franzie) Zickefoose and Marvin Zickefoose; a daughter, Helen Marshall (Chris Read); nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; sisters, Norma (Charlie) Lloyd, Frances Cheadaster; brother, Bill Lanham; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gale Lee Zickefoose; three brothers; a sister-in-law; a brother-in-law; and a close friend, Charlie Livingston.
A memorial service will be held at the home at a later date.
