JoAnn Qualk

JoAnn Qualk age 83, of Atwater, passed away at 4:35 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born June 10, 1933, in Limaville, Ohio, to the late William and Susan Mae (Worley) Wood.
JoAnn was an Alliance High School graduate and formerly a junior accountant loan officer at General Tire in Akron. She had also been an entrepreneur in the business of selling Depression Era glassware.
She was a member of the New Apostolic Church in Tallmadge.
JoAnn is survived by her husband, Robert H. Qualk, whom she married August 26, 1951; three daughters, Susan (David, deceased) Feiock of Alliance, Jeri (Randy) Englehart of Louisville and Tonya Qualk of Atwater; 12 grandchildren, Travis (Kim) Marty, Jessica (Chad) Krug, Tracie (Scott) Friel, Beth (Irvin) Gandee, Megan Feiock, Brock (Kayla) Feiock, Jennifer (Allen) Moff, Eric (Anna) Englehart, Amanda (Joshua) Englehart, Stephanie (Cory) Sullivan, Sarah (Alex) Madrid and Jacob Qualk; 18 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Barbara Kommel, Celia Knight and Jan Burton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Thelma Reed.
Private family services will be held.
